This is a Haulser family favorite. It is not a pretty soup it is kind of a gray/tan color but it absolutely delicious!
Pinto Bean Soup
1 bag of dry pinto beans
1 onion chopped
2 bay leaves
on sliced kielbasa (I use light or turkey)
1 cup of sour cream (I use non fat Greek yogurt)
2 tablespoon of flour
Put all ingredients except the four and sour cream in a slow cooker and let cook for several hour unlit beans are soft. Mix the sour cream and flour together until smooth and paste like. Add some hot soup and whisk together until smooth and creamy. Add this to the soup and mix well.
